Multiplex
Multiplex is an event created by the CAM course, with its first edition in 2011. It hosts film cycles and masterclasses featuring major international filmmakers and artists such as Nan Goldin, Agnès Varda, Victor Erice, ORLAN, Ildikó Enyedi, Sara Driver, and Manoel de Oliveira, among many others. Batalha Film Center
We have the immense privilege of being located right next to one of the city's most iconic cinemas, the Batalha Centro de Cinema. This provides our students with the excellent opportunity to view, analyze, study, and attend film classes inside a real movie theater throughout the year! In partnership with Batalha, we organize the monthly GREAT ARTISTS ON CAMPUS cycle during the academic year, welcoming prestigious guest filmmakers and multimedia artists such as Vhils, Mikhail Karikis, Mila Turajlić, and Diana Policarpo, among many others.
Espaço Mira
Our students benefit from another unique opportunity by attending and showcasing their multimedia installations at Espaço Mira, one of the most iconic contemporary art galleries in the city. They do so not merely as students, but as active artists within the city's cultural landscape.
Spaces and Equipment
The Porto Regional Centre of Lusófona University is undergoing a major expansion and modernization phase. In the near future, it will feature a brand-new studio complex fully dedicated to audiovisual and multimedia creation.
